Actor Tyler Mane, known for his role as Michael Myers in Rob Zombie's Halloween films, revealed on Monday, June 9th, that he was diagnosed with breast cancer several months ago. His public announcement aims to raise awareness among men about the importance of early detection and screening for the disease.

Mane underwent a single mastectomy after doctors discovered the cancer 'very early.' No additional treatment, such as radiation or chemotherapy, was required post-surgery. His wife, Renae Geerlings, played a crucial role in the early diagnosis after she noticed a 'dimple' on his chest and insisted he seek medical attention, despite his initial dismissal.

Currently cancer-free, Mane emphasized that while male breast cancer is rare, it does occur, and symptoms can mirror those in women, including lumps, dimpling, and nipple changes. He strongly encourages men to get checked, especially those with a family history of breast cancer, stating, 'It saved my life, and I know it can save others.' He plans to continue advocating for early detection.
